OLD FRIENDS – an 80’s collection (1980 – 1987)
the A&M years – music by Jim Lamarche

four and forty blackbirds, singing daydreams

8 songs selected here, out of around 40 recorded between 1980 & 1987.

I moved to Toronto and got my first job at Kensington Sound in January 1980, becoming an engineer there within a few months recording a bunch of songs during downtime and later mixing them at Amber Studio w/a FACTOR loan which got me signed to A&M Records in ’83. The last song “Little Boys” was the single off my follow up album Searching for the Sunrise in 1985.
